I created this site after leading opposition to the 3D Printing bill AB 2047 in California. This is a starting point for information about 3D printing and how it connects to legislation. With the advancements of additive manufacturing, it's important to "future-proof" legislation as much as possible. The tools that will become available to humans have the chance to change the course of the future by bringing in a more sustainable way of life and a freedom to create anything with no barrier to entry. Education is the pathway to a level playing field, and after months in the California capitol, it's clear that the only thing holding us back is a lack of knowledge.
The future can be absolutely amazing if we want it to be.
